The environmental protection in Japan

Environmental protection is a vital task not only for Japan but for the entire world. The Japanese people are involved in various efforts for the environmental protection.

The modern life is generating a lot of waste. Humans have to build a society able to recycle, in which objects are used moderately and can be used over and over again instead of being thrown into the garbage indiscriminately. Japan has progressed in reducing the amount of waste generated and the recycling of used objects. Recycling cans and plastic bottles is quite entrenched.

In order to have a comfortable life day to day, we need a lot of energy, where electricity, gas and gasoline is included. By producing electricity and operating machines by burning fuels such as oil and coal, to the atmosphere carbon dioxide and other gases causing global warming and air pollution are emitted. In order to avoid this, we must reduce the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. During COP-3, a conference of huge importance on the prevention of global warming in Kyoto in 1997, many countries promised to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases they produced.

One way to fight global warming is to use "clean" forms of energy that do not lead to the emission of gases. Solar, wind and geothermal energy are examples of some of the kinds of clean energy available today. Japan is promoting and introducing the use of the clean energy as part of its efforts to fight global warming and reduce pollution.

Japan is also working to help countries around the world to confront environmental problems by lending, for example, technological help in the recycling process, equip them with technology to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and provide other environmental technologies.

Drugs, alcohol...

Konnichiwaaaaaa! Today we are going to talk about drugs and alcohol.

Everybody know what is drugs and alcohol. Everyday we listen news about this: "A young man die when he drove with alcohol or drugs" or another example of this: The teenagers that drink alcohol and children with 13 years smoking. It's "usual" in our life to see situations like these but it is not good.

Accidents, violence, die, bad life, addiction, prison, disappointment... Do you want all of this? A lot of people work hard to resolve these problems. Japan is one of the most technologically advanced country in the word and they are inventing something to fight this situation.

Japanese Researchers created a technology that can be placed into the seat of the car and detect if the driver is drunk, has got drug in his body or if the driver is also sleep. This sensor can be placed in the bed of the hospitals too to say if the patient is fine.

This technology was developed by Hiroshima university, Tokyo university and Delta Tooling company. The sensor is a microphone in a lot of foaming texture. This invent allow capture with clarity the wave of the heartbeat alerting is drunk, drug, sleepy or has got a heart attack.

This is an example to the people who want stop with this reality; "a drug society". We have to be the change for a better future without drugs.
